Symptoms of Alcoholic Fatty Liver Disease

Alcoholic fatty liver disease, also known as alcoholic steatohepatitis, is caused by excessive alcohol consumption. Here we have listed some alcoholic fatty liver symptoms:

1. Fatigue

One of the early symptoms of alcoholic fatty liver disease is feeling constantly tired. This occurs due to decreased liver function.

2. Abdominal Pain

Inflammation of the liver and accumulation of fat can cause pain in the right upper part of the abdomen.

3. Weight Loss

Sudden weight loss for no apparent reason can also be a symptom of alcoholic fatty liver disease.

4. Loss of Appetite

People with alcoholic fatty liver disease may have a decreased appetite, causing them to eat less.

5. Jaundice

Jaundice, in which the skin and whites of the eyes turn yellow, can be a sign of serious liver problems.
