He has completed his MBBS which followed by MS (General Surgery) from Gujarat University and MCh (Surgical Gastroenterology) from Delhi University. He then enhanced his skills by completing Fellowship (HPB surgery and Liver transplantation) (2010), ASAN Medical Centre Seoul South Korea.

He has expertise in Living Donor, Split Liver, Paediatric and Cadaver Liver Transplantation and has also performed many complex and rare liver surgeries with over 96% success rate. Instrumental in setting up liver transplant programs in other centers across the country and abroad prominent one’s being Sheikh Zayed Hospital Lahore Pakistan, and at Karachi where he was invited multiple times to perform transplant surgeries and to train the local surgeons.
